The last few months have been a bit mad, where should i start,
First of all would like to thank all our mates, fans or any one else who helped in any other way, also thanks to our mates Christophre Robin, Kieran Byrne, The Kinetiks, Ham SandwicH and Jester who we shared the stage with over the past few months
Massive shout out to all who came to the Single Launch in Crawdaddy, crazy day, we got up at like 5am to beat the traffic up to dublin to do an interview in Phantom with Edel Coffee played an acoustic of "Bus Stop". Hung around for the rest of morning/afternoon with Stevo drinking coffee and reading the old papers, saw ourselves in Hearld Am and Day and Night so we were happy boys.
Loaded into crawdaddy at five with help from Brian (cheers cully), support on the night came from fellow kilkenny lads The Fundamentals . Graham Hynes (new bass player) got to strut his stuff for the first time with The J Team. Crowd was Amazing, danced from start to finish, it was a shock to us that we got such a large crowd so thanks again to all.
Woke up the next morning with sore heads, hoped into the car and headed in the direction of Wexford, got to wexford New Ross to be exact to play a benefit gig for Search and Rescue Service. Huge Crowd turned out for a great cause.
Got out our Acoustic guitars, Shakers, Tambourines, and ourselves over the next couple of weeks to do some radio interviews which was good fun
Other gigs which were really good were with The Kinetiks in The Pumphouse in Kilkenny( Check them out there class), and also with the excellent Ham SandwicH in Monoghan. Mayb not the journey back though, ended up partying all night with The Sandwich and our new friends at Venue Promotions, didnt sleep all night Just got back into the car @6am and headed home.
Had our Whelans Debut on the 9th of May, Cheers to all there who made our stay really comfortable, Support that night came from Kieran Byrne(Popular singer/songwriter) and Christopher Robin. Cully got a bit Rock and Roll on the night Setting off the fire alarm with the smoke machine, but in fairness did a great job on smoke machine and lazer. Cheers to all who turned out
From there to now,
In the last few weeks we have recorded a Brand new single "Kick Off" and a video for it also, which is going up soon.
There will be loads more touring soon with mayb an all ages single Launch in kilkenny
Mine is in Eamon Doran's before a gig last may when the lads were sitting around having a pint before the gig trying to come up with a less religious name than Saving Judas....the penny dropped soon enough after...funny stuff!!
